The Nigerian Air Force has conducted a special training for troops on para-trooping, aimed at identifying the enemies hideout during operations at the Air Force base in Kaduna State, North-western Nigeria.
The Air Officer Commanding, Training Command, Air Vice Marshal Nurudeen Balogun, explained the rationale to reporters at the end of the training.
He explained that the training would assist the troops in the fight against militancy in the Niger Delta region, terrorism in the north east and other related crimes across the country.
He also stated that the training would expose the troops in search and rescue operations especially during fire incidents and other emergency situations.
Commandant of the Air Force Regiment Training Centre, Air Commodore Danladi Boasa, stated that he was satisfied with the performance of the troops
.
The airborne training is designed to expose the officers to various skills and modern operational techniques geared towards tackling all forms of security threats that may arise at any giving time.
